| Training | Dr. Gormley grew up in Laurel, Maryland. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland College Park specializing in physiology and neurobiology. Dr. Gormley went on to study medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.Dr. Gormley had the opportunity to stay in the area to complete his medical and surgical residencies in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Gormley trained at the Veterans Administration hospitals in Baltimore and Washington. Dr. Gormley also had the chance to serve active duty members of the military while training at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and Kimbrough Army Medical Center at Fort Meade. Dr. Gormley also spent time at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, and Northwest Hospital Center in Baltimore. Dr. Gormley especially enjoyed working with the diabetic population at Joslin Diabetes Clinic at University of Maryland. Dr. Gormley completed his residencies in 2006. Dr. Gormley resides just east of Laurel with his wife and two children. He is a Member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and is a Member of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. |
